Machine Learning Engineer (Senior/Expert) (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Malmö, Sweden, with three office days per week. Commuting is possible during the first three months, after which relocation to Malmö is required.

Salary: 150–180 PLN/hour on a B2B contract. Senior: 1200–1400 PLN/MD; Expert: 1400–1840 PLN/MD.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions.
• Build and maintain large-scale ML systems and data processing pipelines.
• Develop and optimise training, fine-tuning, and evaluation processes for machine learning models.
• Improve machine learning infrastructure, tooling, and model development workflows.
• Deploy, monitor, and continuously improve ML models in production.
• Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product stakeholders on AI-powered features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Software Engineering with a strong ML focus.
• Strong software development skills with proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems, high-throughput applications, data pipelines, and production ML models.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, SQL, Snowflake, or Hadoop.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NLP, Generative AI, RAG systems, foundation models, or transformer architectures.
• Background in recommendation systems, personalisation, search, or advertising technologies.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, probabilistic models, bandits, or other advanced ML techniques.
• Experience shipping AI/ML features into large-scale consumer products.
