Designer, Web Presence & Platform (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the United States; remote work is defined as being at least 35 miles (56 kilometers) from a Stripe office. Regular work from home is expected, with optional office attendance for meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events.

Annual US base salary: $133,200–$199,800.

What you will do

• Design product, industry, and solution landing pages across stripe.com.
• Collaborate with engineers, product marketing managers, content designers, and other designers to define problems and develop solutions.
• Maintain and evolve reusable design systems and component-based patterns.
• Balance storytelling, usability, credibility, and ease of navigation.
• Use user research, testing, and data to guide and validate design decisions.
• Participate in critiques and uphold a high bar for visual craft and quality.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant design experience, ideally in web or product marketing contexts.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, systems thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently scope and lead small to medium-sized projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and interaction fundamentals.
• Experience with Figma, component-based systems, CMS-driven websites, and modular systems.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with front-end development workflows and collaboration with engineers.
• Knowledge of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Experience designing for international audiences or multilingual websites.
• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
