Integration Hardware Developer (IoT)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; flexible hybrid working model

Salary: AED 250,000–360,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Build in-house proofs of concept and define requirements for hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Lead pilot installations for refrigeration control units, tachographs, thermographs, sensors, and other third-party devices.
• Design and prototype harnesses, enclosures, and tooling, then assemble and test new units.
• Adapt and test products across new vehicle and equipment platforms.
• Reverse engineer electrical, hardware, and communications systems and protocols, including CAN, K-Line/ISO9141, VPW/PWM, Single Wire CAN, RS-232, and RS-485.
• Work with OEMs and third-party manufacturers to investigate proprietary data, diagnostics, and device behavior issues; support global initiatives with up to 25% travel.

Requirements

• Experience with vehicle systems, sensors, actuators, control systems, diagnostics, and electrical or communications architecture.
• Hands-on experience probing connectors, building harnesses, testing circuits, and diagnosing vehicle or equipment problems.
• Technical engineering education in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, computer, systems design, automotive, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to document field data collection methods and independently investigate device behavior issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to global locations.

• Scripting or programming knowledge.
