Associate Director IT, ERP Finance Capabilities (SAP)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States

Base salary: $164,200–$205,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Own the multi-year ERP Finance capabilities roadmap across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC6, and Central Finance.
• Build business cases for SAP investments and guide the remaining ECC6-to-S/4HANA migration.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of S/4HANA rollouts, Central Finance extensions, restructuring projects, Tax implementations, Treasury implementations, and related Finance programs.
• Manage project portfolios through governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Ensure high availability, performance, operational stability, and heightened support during critical close cycles.
• Lead SAP FI/CO, Tax, and Treasury specialists, functional consultants, architects, contractors, and implementation partners.

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years leading SAP ERP Finance in a multinational organization.
• Deep SAP FI and CO/PC expertise across GL, AP, AR, CCA, PCA, CO-PA, Product Costing, and Material Ledger.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, including Universal Journal and embedded analytics.
• Strong SAP ECC6 and Central Finance experience covering source-system integration, mapping, replication, reconciliation, and finance data harmonization.
• Experience with SAP Tax, indirect tax processes, tax code governance, Vertex or comparable tax solutions, and Treasury and Risk Management.
• Ability to translate Finance and Controlling requirements into scalable, SOX-compliant SAP solutions and lead complex programs end to end.
