TL;DR
Quality Assurance Specialist (Industrial Instrumentation): Ensuring the quality of mechanical, optical, and electronic assemblies across product lines with an accent on compliance, non-conformity resolution, and new product introduction deliverables. Focus on reviewing design and test documentation, leading MRB and FRB activities, and optimizing quality systems and business processes.
Location: Quebec City, Quebec, Canada; occasional remote work is available, with a strong preference for on-site work. Occasional travel to customer sites in the United States and internationally, as well as to locations, is required.

What you will do
- Own quality responsibility for one or more product lines and ensure compliance with internal processes, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate the resolution of customer complaints and internal non-conformities.
- Ensure quality deliverables throughout the New Product Introduction process.
- Review and approve design, procurement, integration, and test documentation, and monitor quality during integration and assembly testing.
- Represent quality in Material Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities, contribute to non-conformity closure, and monitor design changes.
- Facilitate Failure Review Board meetings and lead quality-system process simplification and optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a regulated or standards-driven environment and knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
- French and English bilingualism required for regular communication with customers and stakeholders outside Quebec.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, communication, teamwork, accountability, autonomy, and attention to detail.

- Knowledge of SAP and Windchill.
