What you will do
- Build, coach, and mentor engineers while contributing directly as a player-coach.
- Define engineering standards, best practices, clean architecture, and maintainable code across squads.
- Lead hands-on backend development in Python, especially with FastAPI, and solve complex technical problems.
- Architect secure, scalable, and stable APIs and services integrating LLMs with AWS and modern cloud platforms.
- Drive GenAI experimentation, RAG solutions, agentic workflows, MCP server integrations, and AI engineering tool adoption.
- Collaborate with product, research, design, engineering, and Agile stakeholders on technical strategy, roadmaps, delivery, and support.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong backend and API expertise in Python, FastAPI, or Flask.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs, including RAG solutions, agentic workflows, product integrations, MCP servers, or Claude Skills.
- Experience with AWS cloud-native development, infrastructure, DevOps principles, CI/CD, and automated quality assurance.
- Strong systems thinking, architectural decision-making, technical judgment, and software design expertise.
- Experience building resilient, maintainable, and scalable systems in high-paced Agile and product-oriented environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
