TL;DR
Training Engineer (Manufacturing): Developing technical training, competency certification, onboarding, and evaluation programs for manufacturing employees with an accent on training design, skills certification, and knowledge transfer. Focus on creating practical and theoretical assessments, managing competency matrices, facilitating technical workshops, and supporting frontline leaders with HR solutions.
Location: Onsite in Juarez, Nuevo León, Mexico; the role supports the Electrification Team in Apodaca and the Monterrey site.

What you will do
- Develop promotion systems, including theoretical and practical evaluations.
- Manage competency certification sheets, certification applications, technical support, and competency matrices.
- Lead technical onboarding from hiring through certification and coordinate knowledge transfer with trainers.
- Design technical training materials, facilitate workshops, and deliver train-the-trainer sessions.
- Partner with managers, employees, HR, subject matter experts, and operations teams to resolve workforce issues through HR practices and processes.
- Coach and support frontline leaders and the hourly workforce while driving process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Internship experience or at least one year of experience in training processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of operational and manufacturing processes.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to connect with employees at all levels and contribute to continuous improvement.
