Senior Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: 100% on-site in Fremont, San Jose, or Sunnyvale, California, United States. Training takes place in Fremont, followed by a permanent AM or PM shift with weekend coverage. The operation runs 7 days a week, 16 hours per day.

Salary: $32.70–$48.10 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Diagnose complex, intermittent, and unusual faults in robotic systems, modular components, and support vehicles.
• Perform advanced component-level repairs on electrical systems, control units, and related hardware.
• Use technical manuals, schematics, diagnostic flowcharts, and specialized test equipment to troubleshoot and calibrate systems.
• Document diagnostic processes, root-cause hypotheses, troubleshooting steps, repairs, and component failures in the service management system.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to Level 2 Technicians.
• Independently prioritize assigned work to maximize fleet uptime and utilization.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of service work experience.
• Strong mechanical repair aptitude, communication skills, and documentation skills.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle record check required.
• Ability to work on-site and cover an assigned AM or PM shift, including weekends.

Nice to have

• Experience servicing vehicles or fleets, especially electric or autonomous vehicles.
• Experience with robotics or aircraft.
• Experience with JIRA, MaintainX, or other service management tools.
