Manager, Local Markets

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia

What you will do

• Define and execute growth strategies for priority customer segments and local markets.
• Identify opportunities across merchant offerings, selection expansion, and customer experience.
• Translate marketplace insights and data into growth roadmaps and prioritised initiatives.
• Design, launch, and scale experiments across pricing, merchandising, and customer and merchant value propositions.
• Analyse strategic and financial impact, evaluate ROI, and optimise investments with Analytics and Finance.
• Lead collaboration across Marketing, Operations, Sales, Product, Analytics, and Finance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, growth, product, marketplace, or general management.
• Experience owning and scaling growth initiatives in complex environments.
• Strong marketplace intuition, ideally in multi-sided or regulated environments.
• Advanced analytics, experimentation, and dashboard experience.
• Proficiency with modern AI and automation solutions, including ChatGPT Codex and Claude Code.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, business judgment, capital allocation skills, resilience, and bias to action.
