Lead Delivery AI Software Engineer (Web Development)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end development of high-scale web applications, from architecture and design through development, testing, and deployment.
• Gather and prioritize business requirements, define project scope, and translate business logic into robust proprietary software.
• Design and deliver secure, reusable, maintainable solutions for consulting teams, BCG X product teams, and practice areas.
• Provide technical guidance on development approaches, system design, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery.
• Manage project execution and workflow while coordinating with case teams, stakeholders, and consulting teams.
• Develop engineering best practices, contribute to internal content and intellectual property, and coach software engineers.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of end-to-end web application or tool development experience in a commercial services or consulting environment.
• Strong experience with NodeJS, Python, Flask, Django, React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with SQL/Postgres, Git, Unix command-line tools, CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, responsive UI, unit and integration testing, REST API integration, and UI component libraries.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, or an equivalent field, plus excellent communication and storytelling skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of TypeScript, MongoDB, React Native, Ionic, asynchronous programming, and charting libraries such as HighCharts, D3.js, or Recharts.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET Core, or .NET Framework.
• Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or relevant forums.
• Basic wireframing skills.
