Health & Safety Manager (AI Data Center)

Location: Hrazdan, Armenia; full-time, hands-on and site-based

What you will do

• Develop and maintain occupational health and safety policies, procedures, risk registers, site rules, records, and performance KPIs.
• Conduct site inspections, safety walks, audits, risk assessments, JSAs/JHAs, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Establish and oversee Permit-to-Work, Lockout/Tagout, electrical safety, PPE, confined-space, work-at-height, lifting, traffic, and chemical-safety controls.
• Monitor construction contractors, MEP contractors, vendors, and other third parties for compliance with Firebird requirements.
• Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire and life safety, occupational health services, training, commissioning, handover, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Construction, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant H&S experience, preferably in data centers, industrial facilities, power infrastructure, construction, utilities, or other mission-critical environments.
• Practical knowledge of construction and operational health and safety, including PTW, LOTO, contractor safety, and incident investigation.
• Knowledge of electrical, fire and life safety, chemical safety, confined spaces, working at height, emergency response, and ISO 45001 principles.
• Familiarity with IFC/WBG EHS Guidelines, NFPA requirements, and relevant electrical-safety practices is advantageous.
• English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with data centers, power infrastructure, utilities, or other mission-critical environments.
