Privacy & Process Improvement SME, People Team

Location: Prague, Czech Republic or Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid work with work-from-home up to 2 days per week depending on team needs; up to 30 days per year may be worked from any location in the world.

What you will do

• Own People Team privacy assessments, workflows, data retention policies, data subject requests and privacy reviews for HR systems and vendors.
• Lead SOC2, ISO and HR system audit activities, provide evidence, coordinate mitigation plans and maintain remediation controls.
• Map current People processes, identify waste and manual hand-offs, design future-state processes, and track measurable improvements.
• Support AI governance by registering and risk-classifying use cases, documenting human oversight, and monitoring adoption and related risks.
• Maintain SOPs, process maps, standards and controls, and deliver training and change management to process owners and Data Stewards.
• Lead cross-functional privacy, governance, process improvement and M&A integration initiatives with HR, IS, Legal, Compliance, Procurement and vendors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data privacy or GDPR, preferably in an HR or People data environment.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, SOC2, ISO, the EU AI Act, data retention and governance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with internal and external audits, evidence preparation and remediation management.
• Experience documenting and redesigning processes, preparing SOPs and process maps, and translating business needs into standards and system requirements.
• Familiarity with HR systems, process and system data, Excel or Power BI, AI literacy, and Lean or continuous improvement methods.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, information management or a related field, or equivalent experience; strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with OneTrust or LeanIX.
• Lean or Six Sigma training, such as Green Belt.
• Experience in process improvement, project management, IT governance or M&A integration.
