SRE Engineer with German (Payments)

What you will do

• Manage and resolve incidents, problems, changes, escalations, and service requests across production environments.
• Monitor applications and implement health checks and observability for production systems using tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.
• Analyze incidents using logs, static data, configuration settings, and databases, involving third-level support when required.
• Maintain an end-to-end view of SEPA and Instant Payment processing chains and assess incident impact and resolution times.
• Review production changes, test reports, and impact assessments while acting as a gatekeeper for releases.
• Drive incident-prevention plans, automation, product introductions, and service improvements with suppliers, clients, and processing partners.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL, Unix/Linux, Oracle, PostgreSQL, scripting, Grafana, and monitoring technologies such as Dynatrace.
• ITIL certification and knowledge of XML/XSD, SEPA, REST, SOAP, messaging, encryption, authentication, and authorization models.
• Experience with Java 8+, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, one-click deployment, software security, and data analytics using GCP or another cloud platform.
• Experience with AI adoption and automation, collaboration platforms, Agile practices, and technical writing.
• Fluent German at B2–C1 level, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate in an international environment.
