Salary: CAD $113,400–$162,000 annually for Canada Intermediate level

What you will do

• Partner with product, marketing, finance, engineering, and trust and safety stakeholders to frame business questions and define success criteria.
• Analyze large datasets to identify drivers of user acquisition, engagement, retention, revenue, and monetization.
• Develop and evaluate predictive models, segmentation, forecasting, causal inference, and other machine learning methods.
• Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and quasi-experiments for product and marketing decisions.
• Build metrics, KPIs, dashboards, reusable analyses, and tools in collaboration with data engineering.
• Communicate findings and actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data science, product or business analytics, or a related quantitative role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for working with large datasets.
• Solid knowledge of statistics, experimentation, A/B testing, and common machine learning techniques.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business problems, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical explanation, visualization, and presentation.
• Experience with BI or product analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Mixpanel, plus a quantitative degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer mobile apps, subscriptions, or ad-supported businesses.
• Experience with advanced causal inference, forecasting, optimization, fraud detection, or anomaly detection.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Databricks, dbt, or similar data tooling.
• Hands-on use of AI to accelerate analysis or build data products.
• A graduate degree in a quantitative field.
