Associate Counsel – Commercial Contracts & Channel Operations

Location: Brno, Czech Republic; full-time, based at the Vlněna Office Park workplace.

What you will do

• Act as the first legal contact for routine partner onboarding and channel questions through the Brno-based Partner Interaction Center.
• Draft, review, and support negotiation of standard channel agreements, amendments, partner notices, authorization letters, and corporate-change documentation.
• Review channel programme documents, promotions, partner communications, and other channel-facing materials.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate recurring legal work and channel workflows.
• Contribute to EMEA and global Channel Legal projects, process improvements, templates, guidance, and legal technology resources.
• Support channel integrity and brand protection initiatives, including reviews involving trademarks, copyrighted materials, and other protected brand assets.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Law or equivalent from an accredited European university.
• 2–4 years of experience in-house or at a law firm, with a strong foundation in commercial contract drafting.
• Solid commercial contract review and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage routine matters independently and escalate complex issues.
• Proactive, pragmatic, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach with an interest in process simplification and legal technology.
• Ability to explain legal processes clearly and build relationships with non-legal business partners.
• Proficiency in English, written and oral, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience or understanding of indirect sales channels, multi-tier distribution models, or partner-network ecosystems.
• Additional European languages.
