Bookkeeper, Ventures

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; hybrid work arrangement

hirify.global is a creator management company and venture studio building businesses with leading creators across MENA.

What you will do

• Maintain separate, accurate books for the Ventures entity and each portfolio company.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cards, online store sales, payment gateways, fees, refunds, chargebacks, and settlements.
• Manage customer and supplier invoices, missing documents, overdue balances, and payment schedules.
• Maintain inventory and product-cost records and reconcile supplier, creator, and platform payouts.
• Record intercompany transactions and approved cost allocations with complete supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, cash reports, and records for tax filings and audits.

Requirements

• Hands-on bookkeeping and month-end experience for multiple businesses.
• Experience with e-commerce, inventory, or consumer products is particularly relevant.
• Confidence using Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or an equivalent accounting system, plus Excel or Google Sheets.
• Practical experience preparing UAE VAT records and supporting reporting and filing cycles is required.
• Fluent English is required. Arabic is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to follow missing documents through to resolution, handle sensitive information discreetly, and explain issues clearly.
