Senior Electronics Lab Technician (IoT)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; hybrid working model

Annual base salary: AED 250,000–360,000

What you will do

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic production jigs and equipment.
• Assemble, program, solder, desolder, and test hirify.global GO and IOX devices.
• Design and assemble wiring harnesses, apply labels, and load firmware for certification testing.
• Run test procedures and validate device compliance with laboratory and network certification requirements.
• Document device details, procedures, best practices, templates, and tools for the wider team.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor new team members, and support test automation initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics and use test measuring tools.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Comfort using Google Suite and working in a flat, collaborative organization.

Nice to have

• IPC certification, including IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/IPC-7721, or IPC J-STD-001.
• Interest in new technologies and testing techniques.
