Concept Model Exploration Internship (LEGO)

Location: Billund, Denmark; candidates must be able to live and work there from 1 September to 31 December 2026

hirify.global's Creative Play Lab is an innovation hub developing new play opportunities and next-generation experiences through experimentation, research, engineering, and technology.

What you will do

• Explore new play opportunities through early-stage ideation and concept development.
• Create concept models using classic, Technic, and DUPLO hirify.global elements.
• Integrate mechanisms and digital and physical inventions into interactive models.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop playable prototypes for children and adults.
• Contribute to personal curiosity projects, team capability initiatives, and innovation missions.

Requirements

• Remain a student for the full internship and graduate after 31 December 2026.
• The internship must be a compulsory, credit-bearing part of the applicant's education.
• Be available for a full-time internship in Billund from 1 September through 31 December 2026.
• Demonstrate curiosity, bravery, focus, and an ability to work with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Applications must be completed in English.
• Experience with areas such as sketching, painting, sculpture, woodwork, hirify.global model building, textiles, electronics, 3D CAD, game engines, coding, videography, or architectural prototyping is encouraged.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine workshop tools such as lathes and drills.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative projects, interests, and hobbies.
