Software Engineering Manager (TRIOS Software): Leading and developing the local TRIOS Software project team in a hybrid Skopje office environment with an accent on people leadership, organizational effectiveness, and delivery support. Focus on building engineering capability, strengthening team processes, supporting technical direction, and aligning stakeholders across Product Management, Architecture, Quality Assurance, and Engineering.
Location: Hybrid, based in the Skopje office, North Macedonia

What you will do
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the 11-person TRIOS Software team in Skopje.
- Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, coaching sessions, and succession planning.
- Improve engineering practices, team processes, capacity planning, and collaboration models.
- Support planning and execution of software development initiatives, including priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, Architects, Quality Assurance, and other Product Creation stakeholders.
- Participate in technical discussions and technology evaluations while supporting long-term technical direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of people management experience in software engineering organizations.
- Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams, including recruitment, coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Understanding of software architecture, software engineering principles, and modern development practices.
- Professional proficiency in English and ability to work in a hybrid setup from the Skopje office.
