Lead Data Operations Analyst (AI)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work options available

Salary: €48,100–€60,000 gross per year. A non-guaranteed bonus may also apply.

What you will do

• Investigate complex data quality and operational issues, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
• Analyze large e-commerce transactional datasets using SQL and BI tools.
• Build validation, monitoring, and analytical solutions to improve data reliability.
• Lead data, automation, and process-improvement initiatives from idea through measurable impact.
• Explore AI/GenAI and automation use cases for operational and analytical workflows.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Tooling, Product, and client-facing teams while supporting other analysts.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, data quality, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong SQL, analytical problem-solving, and BI tool experience.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, investigate them independently, and deliver practical solutions.
• Professional fluency in English and French.
• Strong communication, autonomy, creativity, proactivity, and interest in technology.

Nice to have

• Python, Java, scripting, and automation experience.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT, data pipelines, dbt, or Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or Google BigQuery.
• Experience with JSON, HTML/XML, RegEx, data validation, monitoring, or data quality automation.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI, e-commerce data, or Agile environments.
