UI/UX Design Trainee

Location: Astana, Kazakhstan; candidates from Almaty attend in-office, while participants from other cities in Kazakhstan can join online

Salary: up to 330,000 KZT gross per month during the traineeship; no scholarship is provided.

Andersen is an international IT outsourcing company that develops digital products for clients worldwide.

What you will do

• Complete a five-month intensive UI/UX design traineeship.
• Work on real-world digital product challenges under the guidance of experienced designers.
• Apply research, wireframing, prototyping, and design system practices.
• Build a professional portfolio and gain hands-on project experience.
• Collaborate with developers and participate in regular design reviews.
• Progress toward a commercial project and potential employment after successful completion.

Requirements

• English at Intermediate+ level or higher for verbal communication.
• Completed UI/UX design courses.
• Confident use of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Portfolio on Behance, Dribbble, or another platform.
• Understanding of UX processes, interface design principles, and responsive design.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and work with feedback.

Nice to have

• German at Intermediate level or higher.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience conducting UX research.
