Data Analytics Engineer (Palantir Foundry)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

Salary: EUR 2,400–4,100 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end analytics solutions in Palantir Foundry for the Property & Casualty domain.
• Develop scalable PySpark data transformation pipelines and reliable data products.
• Build user-facing analytics applications with Workshop and TypeScript.
• Translate business needs into technical designs, data models, and implementable user stories.
• Improve architecture, performance, data quality, testing, automation, and developer experience.
• Own implementation quality through clean code, code reviews, documentation, production support, and collaboration with product owners, architects, analysts, and developers.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for scalable data transformation pipelines.
• Strong understanding of SQL, data warehousing, ELT, and cloud data architecture.
• Practical software engineering skills, including the use of AI tools.
• Problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work from the Bratislava office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building user-facing applications with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Palantir Foundry experience.
• Reinsurance or financial domain knowledge.
• Experience with Generative AI and/or Natural Language Processing.
