Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid role

Salary: €1,800–€3,000 per month base salary for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of nine accounts payable and travel expense professionals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, reimbursements, reconciliations, supplier payments, and quarterly closings.
  • Manage coaching, performance development, career conversations, and succession planning.
  • Coordinate with team leaders, local offices, suppliers, and global stakeholders across locations and time zones.
  • Contribute to finance transformation, process improvement, automation, and global projects.
  • Use finance systems and data to identify trends, support decisions, and improve operational performance.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least two years of managerial experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader, ideally in finance or shared services.
  • Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, travel expenses, reconciliations, or similar finance operations.
  • Hands-on experience with finance systems and data analysis.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a multinational or shared services environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience with process improvement or automation initiatives.
  • Stakeholder management experience across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Additional European language skills.
