Head of Finance (FinTech) (financial strategy and regulatory reporting): Building and leading the finance function for an international payment service provider with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and regulated financial operations. Location: Hybrid format in Riga, Latvia
Salary: €4,000–€5,000 gross per month, negotiable

What you will do
- Lead and further develop the finance function.
- Work with the CEO on financial planning, strategic decisions, and business recommendations.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, financial modelling, and management analysis.
- Oversee regulatory and statutory reporting, including timely submissions to regulators and stakeholders.
- Develop financial policies, controls, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation solutions.
- Coordinate accounting, audit, tax, and external advisory activities while partnering with Compliance, Risk, and Operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of finance experience in fintech, payments, an EMI, or a PI.
- Practical knowledge of finance operations in a regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience building or improving finance processes and controls.
- Experience managing or developing a finance team.
- English at C1 level and Russian at C1 level; availability to work in a hybrid format in Riga.
