What you will do
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including employee documentation, contracts, exit interviews, and administrative support.
- Deploy training plans, coordinate training vendors, and support people reviews and career committees.
- Monitor Japanese labor regulations, update HR policies and documents, and manage statutory and government declarations.
- Contribute to salary reviews, compensation and benefits administration, budget monitoring, and employee health checks.
- Manage work permit and visa procedures, including requirements, renewals, expiration tracking, and coordination with the mobility team.
- Handle employee HR inquiries, communicate policies, investigate satisfaction cases, and support engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Japanese and English are required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in an international or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of local labor law and HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple topics with cross-functional teams.
