Full Stack Software Engineer (Vue.js)

Location: Remote in Greece or Cyprus, or onsite in Chania, Athens, or Limassol. Fully remote work is available, with occasional team meetings and onsite activities.

What you will do

• Design and ship full-stack features for Authoring Tools, from backend logic to polished frontend experiences.
• Own frontend architecture in Vue.js and improve consistent engineering practices.
• Build and maintain scalable PHP backend services focused on performance and reliability.
• Drive work end to end, including problem definition, estimation, implementation, reviews, iteration, and release.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape solutions and technical trade-offs.
• Use AI-powered coding tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor while maintaining engineering quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in complex SaaS or product environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and Vue.js, including frontend architecture, design patterns, and maintainable UI development.
• Professional PHP experience and the ability to contribute across the full stack.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, HTTP, frontend architecture, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience evolving legacy codebases, debugging performance issues, and making pragmatic technical decisions.
• Native or near-native Greek and a good working command of English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with authoring tools, editors, content creation products, or highly interactive web applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, Go, EdTech, or LMS products.
• Open-source contributions, GitHub repositories, or personal projects.
