Blockchain Security Engineer (Digital Assets)

Location: Istanbul, Türkiye; hybrid work with office attendance at the Vadistanbul office two days per week durhirify.global three weeks of each month, plus one fully remote week per month. Additional remote work opportunities are available throughout August.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services supporthirify.global digital asset operations.
• Build APIs and microservices for wallet administration, asset transfers, transaction signhirify.global, and custody workflows.
• Integrate blockchain SaaS vendors, institutional custody providers, HSMs, vault solutions, and key custody platforms.
• Design secure key management processes and apply security-by-design principles across the application lifecycle.
• Develop wallet provisionhirify.global, custody, multi-signature, approval, segregation-of-duties, and privileged-access capabilities.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, architecture, compliance, and product stakeholders on secure deployments, monitorhirify.global, threat modelhirify.global, and architecture reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineerhirify.global, Software Engineerhirify.global, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software engineerhirify.global experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, preferably Java 17+, Sprhirify.global Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Good understandhirify.global of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluent English communication skills at C1 level or above.
• Knowledge of blockchain security, smart contract risks, cryptographic operations, and secure key storage.

Nice to have

• Experience with MPC custody solutions and institutional custody providers.
• Experience with Azure and familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and financial security standards.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
