Fuels Pricing Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and execute retail fuel pricing strategies across a multi-state portfolio.
• Translate market insights and enterprise strategy into site-level pricing actions.
• Monitor competitor activity, wholesale costs, and market trends to improve volume, margin, customer value, and competitiveness.
• Analyse large and complex datasets and prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Use pricing systems, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve pricing outcomes.
• Lead pricing process improvements and coach Pricing Analysts and other team members.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial analytics, revenue management, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience developing and executing strategy in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Advanced analytical capability with large and complex datasets.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations and actionable outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise data systems, plus experience leading, coaching, or mentoring analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail fuel pricing, convenience retail, FMCG, or another high-frequency pricing environment.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or R.
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
