Senior AI Systems Engineer (AI Automation)

Location: Hybrid in Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina, with 3 days per week onsite; travel to global offices may be required.

What you will do

• Define technical standards and the roadmap for internal AI automation and enterprise workflow orchestration.
• Architect, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable automations and integrations across IT, security, engineering, finance, support, and business systems.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows using LLM APIs, prompt orchestration, tool calling, routing, contextual enrichment, and response validation.
• Integrate enterprise platforms through REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven triggers, database connectors, and secure credential handling.
• Monitor reliability, usage, performance, error rates, licensing, and AI/API consumption across automation platforms.
• Create documentation, runbooks, support processes, operational standards, and escalation support for complex L3 issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, platform engineering, enterprise applications, automation, or related technical roles.
• Experience with workflow and automation platforms such as Claude Code, n8n, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools.
• Experience designing integrations with APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, authentication methods, and event-driven workflows.
• Practical experience with modern AI services, LLM-based workflows, prompt design, scripting, and automation logic; Python, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell experience is required.
• English proficiency is required, and the role requires working onsite three days per week in Buenos Aires.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, semantic workflow tooling, vector-backed retrieval, or other agentic orchestration frameworks.
• ServiceNow ITSM, request management, knowledge workflow, or catalog automation experience.
• Experience integrating Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Jira, Salesforce, Okta, or similar SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, observability, monitoring, ITIL, and workflow reliability practices.
• Relevant ServiceNow, Azure, automation, integration, cloud, or AI certifications.
