Senior Microsoft 365 & Active Directory Engineer (Microsoft 365)

What you will do

• Own day-to-day support and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 tenant and Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory environment.
• Administer identity and access configurations, including provisioning, role-based access control, privileged account protection, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Support Exchange Online, including mailboxes, mail flow, domain settings, retention, shared mailboxes, and email security.
• Maintain Microsoft Defender, endpoint policies, alerting, incident response, audit logging, and monitoring configurations.
• Execute onboarding, offboarding, recovery, access restriction, and content ownership procedures.
• Coordinate testing, stabilization, knowledge transfer, documentation, and administrator handover with stakeholders and the implementation partner.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration and Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience configuring Microsoft 365 core workloads, identity and access controls, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Practical Exchange Online administration experience covering mail flow and email security settings.
• Strong independent troubleshooting and technical documentation skills.
• Good written and spoken English is required for daily collaboration with international colleagues and technology partners.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 / Endpoint experience.
• Exposure to Microsoft Purview, including sensitivity labels, data loss prevention, retention, or eDiscovery.
• Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, Microsoft 365 Administrator, or SC-300.
• Experience in large enterprises, regulated industries, or environments implemented by third-party partners.
