Enterprise Systems Architect (Azure & Manufacturing)

Location: Remote - United States. Applicants must be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR requirements and must be eligible to obtain any required export authorizations.

Base salary: $165,000–$195,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and location. Benefits and bonuses are not included.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for Azure, endpoint management, and manufacturing applications.
• Define Azure standards for networking, identity, security, governance, resilience, monitoring, and cost management.
• Establish Microsoft Intune architecture for device enrollment, configuration, application deployment, compliance, patching, and endpoint security.
• Guide the architecture, integration, and modernization of Manufacturo, DELMIA Apriso, 3DEXPERIENCE, and related manufacturing and engineering systems.
• Design integrations across MES, PLM, ERP, quality systems, and enterprise data platforms while addressing plant operations and OT requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews, evaluate technology proposals, maintain reference designs and decision records, and provide technical direction to internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least eight years of progressive enterprise IT, infrastructure, or application architecture experience, including three years in an architecture leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience designing and governing Microsoft Azure environments, including identity, networking, security, monitoring, and hybrid connectivity.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows endpoint management, application deployment, device compliance, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience architecting or integrating manufacturing and engineering applications, including understanding of MES, PLM, ERP, traceability, and quality systems.
• Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities or enterprise-wide manufacturing transformation initiatives.
• Experience with two or more manufacturing platforms, such as 3DEXPERIENCE, Apriso, Manufacturo, or CQ.
• Familiarity with IT/OT segmentation, shop-floor connectivity, industrial cybersecurity, digital thread initiatives, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with architecture governance frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMS, DoD STIGs, SACA, or SCCA.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
