General Practitioner (Primary Care): Providing patient-centred primary healthcare for a diverse university student population with an accent on diagnosis, preventative care, mental wellbeing, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Location: Auckland City Campus, Auckland, New Zealand
Competitive salary with five weeks' annual leave; up to 6.75% company superannuation scheme.

What you will do
- Provide health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient-centred primary care for a diverse student population.
- Support students' physical and mental wellbeing through preventative care and early intervention.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, counsellors, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage referrals, documentation, follow-up care, and case management.
- Deliver screening programmes, vaccinations, travel health advice, and health education.
- Assess aegrotat applications, provide academic health advocacy, and build relationships with healthcare providers and referral agencies.
Requirements
- Registration as a medical practitioner in New Zealand, a current NZMC Practising Certificate, and indemnity insurance.
- Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
- At least two years of general practice experience, ideally including primary or emergency care.
- Current CPR or Advanced Life Support certification.
- Experience in multidisciplinary healthcare, working with young adults and diverse communities.
- Confidence using MedTech or similar clinical practice management software.
