Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; international travel to suppliers, manufacturing partners, tradeshows, and events is required as needed.
Salary: $90,000–$130,000 CAD annually, based on experience and skills, plus eligibility for an annual corporate bonus.

What you will do
- Own technical apparel development across the collection from design handoff through pre-production approval.
- Translate athlete insights, trend research, and brand vision into performance-led apparel solutions covering materials, construction, fit, and aesthetics.
- Source fabrics, create technical packs, test prototypes, and manage product development in the PLM system.
- Lead prototyping, wear testing, sample approvals, pattern development, construction, and fit collaboration with manufacturing partners.
- Manage supplier relationships, development timelines, SMU, collaboration, and custom projects.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, content, athletes, and ambassadors to align product development with go-to-market plans and real-world performance feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in apparel or textile technical development, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical apparel development, ideally in performance cycling, technical outdoor, or activewear.
- Strong knowledge of patterning, garment construction, high-performance textiles, and advanced materials.
- Experience with cost engineering, target costs, and margin requirements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; PLM experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, time-management, creative, and iterative problem-solving skills, with the ability to travel internationally.

- Experience in performance cycling, technical outdoor apparel, or activewear.
