TL;DR
IT Security & Systems Compliance Specialist (Crypto): Reviewing IT security, access governance, IT general controls, and compliance technology for payment, wallet, AML/CFT, screening, and Travel Rule systems with an accent on regulatory compliance, control evidence, and technology risk. Focus on validating system configurations and data flows, assessing vendors, supporting audits and BSP/AMLC examinations, and tracking remediation.
Location: Hybrid in Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines

What you will do
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and evidence for IT-related regulatory compliance.
- Perform IT security, access governance, ITGC, and critical-system compliance reviews.
- Assess payment, wallet/custody, AML/CFT, screening, and Travel Rule technology controls.
- Validate compliance and control requirements for technology projects, system changes, and implementations.
- Conduct IT vendor and third-party compliance assessments and monitor remediation.
- Support BSP/AMLC examinations, audits, and remediation through evidence preparation and issue tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT compliance, IT risk, IT audit, information security governance, technology risk, or a related function.
- Hands-on experience with ITGC, access reviews, IT security controls, vendor due diligence, audit evidence, and remediation tracking.
- Experience supporting regulatory examinations, internal or external audits, or compliance assessments.
- Familiarity with BSP regulatory requirements, VASP and AML/CFT controls, transaction monitoring, sanctions and wallet screening, Travel Rule, blockchain analytics, and custody technology.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, system configurations, data flows, interfaces, logs, and control evidence.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking, fintech, payments, e-money, VASP, or another regulated environment.
- Experience with GRC, audit, compliance, access governance, or control-management tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, SOC 1, SOC 2, or similar frameworks.
