Designer Intern

Location: Onsite at the Pullman, Washington headquarters, United States

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Create detailed physical and electrical designs, bills of materials, and job estimates under an engineer’s technical supervision.
• Prepare CAD or MicroStation drawings and other project documentation.
• Provide low-level engineering support to engineers and division support personnel.
• Complete assigned work within agreed schedules and budgets while maintaining high quality.
• Construct relay equipment racks for project testing and assist with testing activities.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in EET, CAD, drafting, or a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated competence in CADD drafting using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Pullman, Washington.
