Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Platform Reliability (Resilience) (Kubernetes/Golang): Designing, building, scaling, and maturing a multi-cloud platform for Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless with an accent on infrastructure automation, Kubernetes at scale, and operational reliability. Focus on preventing repeated customer impact, improving alerting and incident management, and developing resilient software and tooling for global infrastructure.
Location: Ireland
Base salary: €98,400–€126,900 EUR per year

What you will do
- Design, build, scale, and mature the multi-cloud platform supporting internal and external services.
- Develop software, tooling, and automation to improve platform reliability and support rapid product deployment.
- Lead technical initiatives that automate system engineering across 's global infrastructure.
- Respond to major incidents, prevent repeated customer impact, and improve problem management practices.
- Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation, mostly during working hours.
- Collaborate with engineers and strengthen distributed teams through inclusive communication, coaching, and mentoring.
Requirements
- Background in software engineering and experience operating SaaS products in public cloud environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure at scale, preferably across multiple cloud providers.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Crossplane or Terraform.
- Ability to write non-trivial programs in Golang or other programming languages.
- Professional experience with Linux, distributed systems, containerized services, alerting, metrics, and major incident management.
- Experience with the Stack and working effectively in globally distributed teams.

- Experience with public cloud and managed Kubernetes services.
- Experience working remotely or in distributed teams.
