Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada

hirify.global develops sensor simulation and reconstruction software for physical AI, autonomy, robotics, and other safety-critical systems.

What you will do

• Build product prototypes from customer discovery and feature ideation through prototyping and engineering handoff.
• Build and manage integrations with simulation ecosystem software, including NVIDIA simulation tools.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows across autonomy, robotics, computer vision, and simulation teams, including on-site customer engagement.
• Contribute to product and engineering roadmaps, quarterly planning, launch planning, documentation, demos, release notes, and training.
• Define and track success metrics covering adoption, workflow efficiency, data generation throughput, scenario coverage, model performance, reliability, and revenue impact.
• Translate technical and customer needs into product direction, priorities, experiments, and durable platform opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering or field engineering experience delivering platform or infrastructure products at scale, ideally with API offerings.
• Experience in a B2B enterprise environment.
• Working understanding of machine learning frameworks, embodied AI development, and simulation.
• Fluency in Python and C++, with proficiency in AI-enabled development workflows.
• Ability to lead product development from initial concept through first release and beyond, collaborate across functions, and structure ambiguous problems.
• Willingness to travel and spend time with customers on site.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with simulation, developer tools, autonomous systems, or physical AI companies.
• Familiarity with closed-loop simulation, scenario-based testing, or sensor-in-the-loop workflows.
