Location: Okanagan Campus in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, with in-person work at campus and community partner agencies in the Okanagan Valley plus remote work from home
Salary: CAD 37.45β53.81 per hour

What you will do
- Act as a liaison between social work students, field instructors, partner agencies, and the School of Social Work.
- Conduct beginning-, midpoint-, and end-of-term placement check-ins, including site visits and remote meetings.
- Consult with students and field instructors on learning objectives, progress, supervision, and placement design.
- Facilitate resolution of concerns involving student performance, supervision, agency fit, and learning opportunities.
- Review and maintain practicum documentation, provide feedback, and recommend pass/fail grades to the Field Education Coordinator.
- Provide feedback on practicum quality, community needs, and improvements to field education programming.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and one to two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of social work education and acceptance of professional practices, values, and ethics.
- Strong verbal and written communication, judgment, diplomacy, cultural sensitivity, and critical-feedback skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students individually and in groups while respecting diverse perspectives.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, social media, and general internet tools.
- Availability for business-hours meetings and in-person work at Okanagan Campus and community partner agencies in the Okanagan Valley is required.

- Master of Social Work degree.
