EMEA Field CTO, DX — Engineering Executive Advisor (AI)

Location: Remote in the UK, Germany, or France; primary scope covers Western Europe, the UK, and the Nordics. Middle East is not currently in scope. Expect 30–40% travel across EMEA.

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of 15+ named EMEA accounts per half and help advance enterprise opportunities through executive briefings, workshops, presentations, and 1:1 engagements.
• Host 2–4 executive experiences per quarter, including roundtables, panels, and VIP events for VP- and CTO-level decision makers.
• Deliver internal enablement sessions for EMEA sales representatives and participate in hirify.global’s executive briefing council.
• Translate DX research into workshops, talks, executive coaching narratives, product demonstrations, webinars, podcasts, and conference presentations.
• Represent DX in media and analyst conversations, speak at 6 or more conferences annually, and host at least 1 webinar per quarter.
• Surface customer blockers, competitive intelligence, product gaps, and field research themes to the product and research teams.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering organizations or platform/developer experience teams at scale, typically as a VP of Engineering, Head of Platform, Head of Developer Experience, Senior Director of Engineering, or similar.
• Deep expertise in developer productivity, tooling, team design, developer experience, systems thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Established credibility with senior engineering leaders and experience speaking at conferences, panels, podcasts, or executive events.
• Ability to interpret engineering data and research, provide credible commentary, and translate findings into practical guidance for CTOs.
• Strong writing and communication skills with intellectually honest, evidence-based opinions.
• English fluency is required; the role requires 30–40% travel across EMEA.
