What you will do
- Manage and audit Professional Services project cost management data, timesheets, internal reporting, and operational metrics.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close by reviewing budgets, preparing invoice proposals, validating revenue and invoicing data, and tracking project expenses.
- Coordinate new Professional Services bookings and change orders, including legal approvals, revenue recognition, project documentation, and system updates.
- Track third-party contractor agreements, costs, time, expenses, and revenue recognition in collaboration with Purchasing and Finance.
- Support resourcing, resource calendars, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and reporting across territories.
- Use AI-enabled tools such as chatbots, documentation automation, and analytics assistants in line with company governance and data privacy standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably in a Professional Services environment; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Hyperion, SmartView, SharePoint, the Project Accounting Module, and Professional Services project cost management systems.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including pivot tables, SUMIF, AVERAGE, COUNTA, and VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of Professional Services financials, P&L structures, operational metrics, utilization, bill rates, vacation time, and reimbursable travel.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, resolve complex situations, collaborate across departments, and mentor or train colleagues.
- Limited travel is required, potentially one or two trips per year.
