Senior Buyer (Manufacturing) (SAP/procurement): Managing raw material sourcing, subcontracting, consignment, supplier onboarding, and procurement processes for a manufacturing operation with an accent on supplier management, cost optimization, ERP process ownership, and export compliance. Focus on analyzing purchasing data, coordinating production deliveries, leading product-transfer procurement, and improving processes under ISO and ITAR-related requirements.
Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada; procurement activity also supports the Montreal site.

What you will do
- Source raw materials and manage subcontracting and consignment processes in SAP.
- Own purchasing processes, lead cross-functional supply projects, and support process improvements.
- Negotiate consignment agreements, long-term agreements, contracts, payment terms, and supplier conditions.
- Analyze historical and forecast purchasing data to identify volume-pricing, quantity-contract, and value-engineering opportunities.
- Onboard suppliers, create purchase orders, coordinate delivery schedules with Planning and Manufacturing Operations, and manage material returns and replacements.
- Support product transfers to the Montreal site, supplier performance reporting, freight approvals, and export-compliance activities.
Requirements
- College diploma in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least one PMAC course or equivalent and four years of experience in administrative processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier management and familiarity with SAP or another standard ERP system.
- Strong Microsoft Office, written communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and supplier-interaction skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet commitments, improve team efficiency, and work with internal stakeholders across functions.
- Ability to support ISO 9000 requirements and supplier screening, ITAR registration, end-user documentation, and export approvals where required.
