Team Lead, Legal Response (Crypto)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; onsite at Tun Razak Exchange near MRT TRX. Rotational shifts are required to support 24x7 operations.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Legal Response agents handling law enforcement and regulatory requests.
• Assign and triage cases, monitor SLA and quality performance, and handle complex or time-sensitive escalations.
• Coach team members, conduct 1:1s and performance reviews, and coordinate training or retraining needs.
• Maintain SOPs, identify process gaps, and lead process improvement projects and workshops.
• Track SLA adherence, backlog aging, error rates, and volume trends using team dashboards and reporting tools.
• Plan shift schedules for 24x7 coverage and participate in recruitment, screening, and interviewing.

Requirements

• Degree in law, compliance, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating critical thinking.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team and holding team members accountable.
• Ability to use SLA, volume, and error data to make operational decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and from the Tun Razak Exchange location in Kuala Lumpur.
