SEO/GEO Manager (AI): Shaping organic and AI-search visibility for international brands through technical SEO, content strategy, data analysis and search optimization with an accent on Core Web Vitals, structured data and AI-driven discovery. Focus on developing visibility strategies for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, translating complex search insights into client priorities, and improving measurable growth across digital platforms.
Location: Salzburg or Vienna, Austria; 100% hybrid work with the choice to work from home or a office.
Gross annual starting salary: €45,000 for a full-time position based in Austria.

What you will do
- Own integrated SEO and GEO roadmaps for international client accounts, from research and audits through implementation, optimization and reporting.
- Analyze and improve crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals and overall website performance.
- Develop and test strategies that increase brand visibility and citations across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and emerging AI-search platforms.
- Partner with copywriters and creative teams to build topical authority and search-first content experiences.
- Use GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Rankscale to identify opportunities and track performance.
- Present strategies, facilitate workshops and turn complex SEO and GEO insights into clear priorities for clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency environment.
- Strong technical SEO and analytical skills.
- Fluent English and native-level German communication.
- Ability to work full-time in a hybrid setup from Salzburg or Vienna, Austria.
- Experience turning search and data insights into actionable recommendations.
