Senior Mobile App Developer (Swift)

What you will do

• Design and develop robust iOS applications using Swift and established architectural patterns.
• Implement and maintain Firebase services, including real-time push notifications.
• Enhance existing mobile solutions by identifying improvements and implementing technical optimizations.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver scalable mobile solutions.
• Write maintainable, tested, and documented code; participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize app performance and user experience, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing production iOS applications with Swift.
• Hands-on experience with Google Firebase.
• Experience enhancing and optimizing existing mobile solutions.
• Strong understanding of mobile development principles and UI/UX considerations.
• Availability for hybrid work in London, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform development.
• Familiarity with the GDS Service Standard and government digital services.
• Background in consultancy or client-facing environments.
