Software Development Engineer I (Mobile)

What you will do

• Build and enhance iOS and Android mobile features using React Native.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architectural alignment.
• Ensure performance, security, accessibility, and maintainability across mobile applications.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, API SRE, Architecture, and backend engineering teams.
• Support automated testing, CI/CD, mobile build pipelines, troubleshooting, and release processes.

Requirements

• Experience building mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and mobile development patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, state management libraries, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX standards, navigation, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
• Experience in software development and test automation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, Detox, Appium, or Jest.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and modern deployment practices.
