Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Map attack paths and implement controls to manage associated security risks.
• Manage security infrastructure, security operations controls, and identity and access management policies.
• Investigate host, network, and log-based security events, responding to suspected compromises and major incidents.
• Manage technical vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Support internal and third-party audits, regulatory control evidence, and security awareness training.
• Identify process improvements and implement security automations.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, operating systems, and programming or scripting languages.
• Ability to identify and explain technical and process-level vulnerabilities to non-technical audiences.
• Experience implementing information security best practices in on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Understanding of information security standards, security controls, and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with peers, and align security initiatives with business goals.
