CLN Senior Maintenance Technician (B Shift Nights) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Malta, New York, USA; onsite at the Fab 8 semiconductor manufacturing facility. B shift nights follow an alternating schedule of 12-hour shifts, including Sunday–Tuesday and an additional Saturday during the second week.

Salary: $48,200–$83,200 per year, determined by qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Monitor, sustain, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment and assigned processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned tool sets according to operating procedures.
• Monitor, control, and test equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and computer-related equipment issues.
• Recover equipment from process interruptions, document events, and communicate shift handoffs to lead technicians and engineers.
• Work with production teams and area engineers while supporting safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One of the following: a two-year technical degree plus four years of relevant experience; two years of relevant military experience plus four years of relevant experience; or six or more years of relevant experience.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication is required.
• Basic reading, writing, computer navigation, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom for extended periods, wear required cleanroom clothing and PPE, and remain clean-shaven when using respirators.
• Ability to work flexible alternating day or night shifts, stand and walk for most of a 12-hour shift, and periodically lift at least 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering technology, military service, or a trade.
• Four or more years of direct semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
• Statistical Process Control, structured troubleshooting, project management, and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.
