Software Engineering Manager - Data Plane (3D Geospatial)

What you will do

• Build a 3D viewer inside the HUNTR™ application to render pipeline outputs as 3D Tiles in the browser.
• Integrate 3D results into the workflow alongside the source imagery and detections without requiring downloads.
• Design navigation, inspection, and orientation interactions between 3D views and underlying 2D data.
• Collaborate with pipeline teams to ensure tilesets are suitable for direct browser consumption.
• Measure and improve tile size, texture compression, request patterns, rendering performance, and load times.
• Deliver one viewer for SaaS, single-tenant cloud, on-premise, classified-network, and edge deployments.

Requirements

• Strong practical experience with Vue.js and complex, stateful single-page applications.
• Experience rendering 3D geospatial content in browsers using Cesium or an equivalent library, with 3D Tiles or a comparable tiled 3D format.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, TypeScript, component and integration testing, CI/CD, and performance profiling.
• Knowledge of coordinate reference systems, raster and vector data, tiled data structures, and GeoJSON.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and managing asynchronous state for long-running backend jobs.
• Strong UX judgment for technical products and complex operational workflows.
