What you will do
- Build and deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software for products used by members worldwide.
- Design and develop frontend and backend solutions focused on performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Create reusable frontend architecture, components, and engineering patterns.
- Partner with Data Science teams to integrate algorithms and data-driven capabilities into products.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Engineering, and Engineering throughout discovery, design, implementation, experimentation, and iteration.
- Own projects from technical design through production deployment and ongoing optimization, while contributing to architecture and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Mobile Engineer building production-grade applications.
- Mandatory experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
- Experience using AI tools in the software development lifecycle, including reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
- Experience with a backend language such as Scala, Java, Node, Python, or Go, plus relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, ownership, and accountability skills.
