Senior AI Product Engineer, Agentic Systems

What you will do

• Design and implement multi-agent workflows and orchestration graphs with LangGraph.
• Develop systematic, testable, and optimizable prompt programs using DSPy or comparable tools.
• Build MLflow-tracked evaluation harnesses measuring accuracy, faithfulness, hallucination rate, latency, and instruction-following.
• Architect agent memory, tool calling, guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, and failure recovery for production workflows.
• Prototype GraphRAG and hybrid retrieval architectures using Neo4j, LlamaIndex, pgvector, and pg_search.
• Assess when agentic patterns are appropriate versus simpler deterministic solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience, with Python as the primary language for AI-related work.
• Experience designing and shipping production APIs and distributed services.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM and AI APIs, including Anthropic, OpenAI, or open-weight models through vLLM or Ollama.
• Production experience with LangGraph or a comparable agent-orchestration framework, plus LlamaIndex or another RAG framework.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL with pgvector and pg_search, hybrid vector/full-text retrieval, MCP, MLflow, cloud-native deployment, containerization, and CI/CD.
• Daily hands-on use of Claude Code or a comparable AI coding agent, along with a strong understanding of LLM evaluation methodology and end-to-end agent architecture.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Neo4j, Cypher, and graph-shaped data modeling.
• Experience with Prefect or Airflow for data and processing pipelines.
• Experience with DSPy, fine-tuning, preference optimization, or open-source agent and LLM orchestration projects.
• Experience translating agentic AI research and whitepaper concepts into shipped products.
